Recognizing safe working environment as an entitlement of each member of our human resource (HR), PEL is committed to fulfill this obligation by taking all reasonable steps to make PEL operations both at the offices and fields conducive to health, safety and welfare of our personnel.
While conducting its activities, PEL is driven to keep the environmental integrity intact and tailor its operations to either have no adverse impact on the environment or have minimal temporary impacts which are alleviated via mitigating measures.
The HSE Policy consists of seven key factors:
To place the Health and Safety of our HR and public ahead of PEL’s commercial interest while protecting the environment.
To provide and maintain safe systems of work to minimize risk to health, safety and environment.
To provide adequate and proper facilities, equipment and safety apparel and ensure correct use of the PPE.
To provide adequate training, information and instructions on health, safety and hazards to everyone in order to prevent injuries and health risks and to keep the environment in tact.
To regard all industrial accidents as preventable.
To commit towards safe environmental management and low impact/pollution practices and procedures for all operations and take mitigation measures.
To candidly report all HSE performances, favorable or not.
All members of PEL’s human resource at all operating locations must acknowledge their responsibility for protection of Health, Safety and Environment by making it the top priority in all aspects of their work.
