The company’s gross recoverable reserves from Block-22, Badar and Kandra fields are estimated to be over 3 TCF (Trillion Cubic Feet) of gas at an average of 70% recovery factor. Third party consulting engineering firms were employed to confirm OGIP and recoverable reserves in development and production leases i.e., Block-22, Badar and Kandra fields.

PEL’s core strategy is to explore and find hydrocarbons in the Lower/Middle Indus Basin where infrastructure is well developed for marketing. PEL holds exploration and production rights over 12,464 km2 area in some of the best proven potential areas for hydrocarbon find in Pakistan.
